A significant boost for agricultural research in Ireland! Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Martin Heydon, and Minister of State with special responsibility for research, Noel Grealish, have announced €5.9 million in funding under the international strand of the Department’s Research Programme.
This strategic investment will support cutting-edge research initiatives that address key challenges and opportunities in the agri-food sector. Among the projects receiving funding is HOLOSEU, led by Dr. Ibrahim Khalil at University College Dublin. This is a testament to the excellent research being conducted within our third-level institutions.
